In this special noontime event, Ustad Shafaat Khan will describe the role music plays in Indian culture and share his experience of growing up and being a part of one of the most heralded family lineages in all of Indian Classical Music. Musician, musicologist, and arts activist, Bau Graves of the Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center will host the discussion.
