House Manager

Portland Ovations and the Portland Symphony Orchestra jointly seek a highly responsible, collaborative individual to serve as House Manager (HM) for both historic organizations at all in-person performances during their respective 2022-23 seasons.

The House Manager is an integral part of the experience for our audience members. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring patrons enter our venues efficiently and safely and their live performance experience is a positive as possible. As a public-facing position, the House Manager must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable interacting with the public and be able to handle issues effectively and quickly.

Director of Ovations Offstage | School & Family Programs

The Director of Ovations Offstage I School & Family Programs is responsible for creating a dynamic School-Time Performance Series and all related school, education and family programming for young audiences. Responsibilities span from program curation to strategic expansion and partnership development with schools and youth-centered organizations to the design and execution of arts integration workshops, professional development opportunities for educators and direction of Ovations’ literacy acquisition program, Cultivating Curiosity.
