To Your Health & Well-Being
Our community’s health and well-being is always our concern, particularly during flu season. The novel COVID-19 virus re-confirms this priority. We want you to know we are monitoring the situation closely, relying on guidance from the City of Portland and the Maine Department of Public Health, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and WHO. We are also working closely with our partner venues to help ensure your health, safety and comfort. Please find the City of Portland Merrill Auditorium’s statement of policies and procedures here.
We ask, too, that our patrons take extra precautions as outlined by the CDC, including respecting the wishes of those who may not want to get too close. If you feel sick, please stay home to rest and recover. The decision whether to attend an event is a personal decision based upon your current health and in consultation with medical professionals when appropriate. As more is learned regarding the current conditions, Ovations will endeavor to share information, make decisions, and share updates regarding whether an event will occur and in what format; or if Ovations activities will be directly impacted in other ways. Patrons who cannot attend this performance due to illness or extenuating health conditions are encouraged to contact our box office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 207-842-0800.
As your nonprofit home for the performing arts, bringing people together safely and happily to experience live performance is our primary mission. Thank you for being part of it.
