Merrill Auditorium
A beautifully restored 1900-seat performance venue, this majestic municipal hall is one of the gems of Portland’s downtown Arts District and is located at 20 Myrtle Street, near many excellent restaurants.
Hannaford Hall
A warm and welcoming performance space located at 88 Bedford Street on the USM Portland campus, Hannaford Hall is an intimate 520-seat venue with 130-seat mezzanine. An attached 1200-car parking garage makes accessing the performances convenient and hasstle-free.
Westbrook Performing Arts Center
A truly state-of-the-art 1,000-seat theater located at Westbrook Middle School at 471 Stroudwater Street in Westbrook, just minutes from downtown Portland, with free parking.
State Theatre
Payson Park
Edward Payson Park is a delightful multi-functional 48-acre public green space that sits along the shores of Back Cove in Portland. It Is bordered by Ocean Avenue to the north and Baxter Boulevard to the south and offers beautiful views of Portland’s skyline. The perfect spot for a picnic, Payson Park is also home to baseball and softball fields, basketball and tennis courts, the Longfellow Arboretum, children’s play areas, and a community garden.
First Parish Church
The oldest place of worship in the city of Portland, rich with history dating back to the founding of Portland and the earliest settlers of the area in the 1600s. The First Parish Meeting House’ maximum capacity is 700 people and thee building also houses ‘The Parish Hall’ as a gathering place for up to 150, and the ‘Memorial Garden’ outdoor space for additional use. A mobility friendly entrance is available from the courtyard shared with Portland High School.
Maine Jewish Museum
Housed within the restored Etz Chaim Synagogue, a turn-of-the-century house of worship. The Sanctuary provides intimate seating for 150 between the main floor in the second story, and a wrap-around balcony on the third floor. In addition to the main sanctuary, the Synagogue houses Gallery space, and the First Floor Sanctuary for smaller gatherings, and worship services.
Deering Oaks Park
A refreshing oasis amidst the city of Portland, Deering Oaks Park is a historic public park spanning 55 acres complete with sun-dappled winding pathways, towering white oak trees and a charming 1911 arched footbridge. The perfect locale for a pond-side picnic in the park, Deering Oaks was designed and built in 1879 and continues to serve as one of the most pristine outdoor venues downtown Portland has to offer.
SPACE
SPACE is a contemporary multidisciplinary visual and performance space located in the heart of Portland’s Arts District at 538 Congress Street.
Halo At The Point
An open concept venue located in the Brick North building of Thompson’s Point in Portland, HALO bridges the rugged beauty of its exposed brick and classic 1800’s industrial architecture with modern audio and lighting amenities.
