Pre-Performance Lectures

Overview

Join Ovations Offstage for an in-depth look at an art form, artist, or performance theme. Drawing from a local roster of scholars and practitioners, these presentations contextualize the performance and bring new meaning to the main event.

The 2025-26 Chamber pre-performance lectures are curated by George Lopez, Beckwith Artist-in-Residence & Director of the Bowdoin Orchestra.

  • Sophia Liu, piano
  • Academy of St Martin in the Fields Wind Ensemble

Unless otherwise noted, lectures will be held in person, directly preceding the performance.
