ABOUT DR. ARUNA KHAROD
Aruna Kharod is an ethnomusicologist who researches transnational histories and artisanship cultures of Indian performing arts. Trained in Hindustani music (sitar) and Bharatanatyam dance, she also directs Bowdoin’s South Asian Performing Arts Ensemble.
