Join us for “Haint Blue,” a night of songs, stories and traditions by musicians Samuel James and Michael Kebede. In their debut duo performance, these artists weave together their virtuosity and personal histories to create a new sound within the dynamic landscape of Black American folk.
To start the evening, we invite you to an informal pre-concert gathering where you can enjoy community, artmaking, and a catered meal by our friends at Black Betty’s Bistro. This event is presented in partnership with Indigo Arts Alliance.
After the reception, we will walk across the street to First Parish Church to enjoy the performance. Tickets must be purchased separately for the performance.
Please RSVP here. Additional guests are welcome!
