Recognized by the Cleveland Plain Dealer for “exceptional tonal focus and interpretive intensity,” the Miró Quartet is regarded as one of America’s most celebrated and dedicated string quartets. For twenty-five years Miró has performed a wide range of repertoire that pays homage to the legacy of the string quartet while looking forward to the future of chamber music. Possessing a voice of extraordinary beauty, a seamless legato and great dramatic depth, Slack has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington National Opera and San Francisco Opera.
