Accessibility at Maine Jewish Museum

Parking

The Maine Jewish Museum is located at 267 Congress Street and does not have any dedicated parking. The parking lot adjacent to the Museum at 263 Congress Street is private property and no Museum parking is allowed; drop off and accessible entrance are off of this lot. Free on-street parking is available on adjacent neighborhood streets – please note signs carefully! Parking meters are in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Sundays and city holidays are free.

Building Entry

There are two entrances into the building. After crossing through the sculpture garden, patrons may enter through the main door, with a short set of stairs, or follow the path around to the right of the building. That entrance is ramped to the door and can also be accessed from the parking lot at 263 Congress Street.

Ticketing & Box Office

PortTIX mobile box office can be accessed in the Maine Jewish Museum lobby, located at the bottom of the staircase and elevator. The box offers ticket sales and will-call pickup beginning at 1:15 pm the day of the show. Daytime PortTIX hours are Monday through Friday from 11AM – 3PM located at 400 Congress Street in Portland.

Mobile tickets are also issued and can be accessed through your email. The QR code typically cannot be printed, so you MUST bring a mobile phone to the event on which to display the email with the Mobile Tickets for entry. Mobile tickets are sent to your email the day of purchase. To locate them in your inbox search ‘Your Mobile Tickets’, it will come from boxoffice@porttix.com.
