Portland Ovations is grateful to add Sayad Moudachirou to the Board of Directors. Originally from the Benin Republic, Sayad is a native French speaker, fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.    

Sayad is a managing consultant at London Economics International LLC. He works in their energy practice advising utilities, regulatory authorities, developers and other key stakeholders on policy, operational and strategic matters pertaining to the power sector. Concurrently, Sayad has been carrying out compliance and management service activities for small hydropower plants in the Northeast. His responsibilities there and at prior positions draw on his strengths in leadership, due diligence, strategy and management activities.

Sayad brings a unique perspective and a passion for building new and meaningful connections to the Ovations Board. Sayad’s love of music and visual arts combined with his experience living and working in multiple countries inform his view of art as a cultural bridge, which ought to be accessible to all.
