South Africa’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo has shared its uplifting vocal harmonies, signature dance moves, and charming onstage banter for over 50 years. Winners of four GRAMMY Awards since they became famous worldwide from their work with Paul Simon and his Graceland album in 1986, the group combines its native South African musical traditions with the sounds and sentiments of Christian gospel music. The a cappella vocal group has created a musical and spiritual alchemy that resonates with audiences everywhere. Nelson Mandela called them, “South Africa’s cultural ambassadors to the world.” Over the years, the original members have welcomed a younger generation to share its mission, passing along the tradition of storytelling and spreading a message of peace, love, and harmony.
There’s never been a better time to say ‘Sawubona!’ (Hello!) to one of the best musical groups in the world.”
