Based on the Company’s award-winning arts education programs and more than 25 years of performing and teaching students, Step Afrika! has created FIVE DAYS WITH STEP AFRIKA!, a series of five short (less than 20 minutes each in length) videos great for both family time and for classrooms for all ages to learn the roots of this unique dance form; how to perform it; and to meet the company–all virtually.

Episode 3: The Performance, Part 2 (18 minutes)
Episode 4: Stepping with Step Afrika! (13 minutes)

Founded in 1994, Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional West and Southern African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding. To learn more about the Company visit stepafrika.com
