Pre-Performance Lecture: “From Dispensable Servant to Diva: The Violin in Chamber Music” Free, public lecture before Alexi Kenney with Renana Gutman

The violin has had many roles in chamber music over the centuries. Mary Hunter, the A. Leroy Greason Professor Emerita at Bowdoin College, and active violinist’s lecture explores its rich history in this genre. Free and open to the public.
The pre-performance lecture takes place in the Abromson Community Education Center.
