“The Summer King” is in a whole new league

It’s official. If you have not yet heard, it is my great pleasure to share with you that this past weekend Pittsburgh Opera announced its 2016-17 season “Take Me Out to the Opera,” centered on the world premiere of a fully staged production of Daniel Sonenburg’s The Summer King. An exhilarating recital

Yesterday we were treated to an exhilarating recital by Gilmore Award-Winning pianist Rafal Blechacz. Bringing him to Portland was two years in the making and clearly worth the wait. We were delighted to have in attendance Dan Gustin, Executive Director of The Gilmore. It was an honor and privilege to meet Mr. Gustin.
