The fun of meeting new people and being able to see performances I can’t afford.
WHICH PORTLAND OVATIONS PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR (THAT YOU’VE EITHER WORKED AT AS AN USHER OR ATTENDED AS A GUEST)? WHY?
Stomp, it was so clearly musical using commonplace sounds.

Reading, walking, gardening, knitting afghans, quilting, doing genealogies, writing in my journals, watching the birds.
OUT OF ALL THE VENUES THAT PORTLAND OVATIONS USES WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TO WORK? WHY?
I like them all. I like to see the different venues transform and with each performer—they all are very gifted and I appreciate seeing the different ways of expression within the different spaces.

Being on a boat in Portland harbor.
