Canada’s foremost vocal ensemble for more than 40 years, the Vancouver Chamber Choir is internationally renowned for the depth and range of its repertoire, interpretive skills, and performing excellence. Conductor Jon Washburn is noted for crafting innovative and fascinating programs that unearth hidden choral treasures: their concerts encompass a wide range of music from chant to folksong, traditional to contemporary, a cappella to jazz. The twenty singers of the VCC perform frequently with distinguished artists and ensembles such as Chanticleer, Moscow Chamber Choirs, Paco Peña, Canadian Brass, the Turtle Island String Quartet and others.
