The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee national tour

Friday, March 27, 2009   8 pm
Saturday, March 28, 2009   3* and 8 pm
Merrill Auditorium, Portland, Maine
In this Tony-winning new musical comedy, six kids (overseen by adults who barely escaped childhood themselves) learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t make you a loser. This tuneful, offbeat, and occasionally touching show offers audience members the opportunity – strictly voluntarily, mind you – to become part of the action as on-stage spellers.
