Trumpeter Chris Botti is a gifted instrumentalist, a talented composer, and a charismatic performer who created his own signature sound, transforming the world of contemporary jazz while at the same time capturing the attention of the pop music world. Praised for the warmth and complexity of his musical ideas, the masterful hornman combines soulful ambience with naturally flowing improvisation. Winner of a Grammy for his collaboration with rock icon Sting, Botti has worked with an array of the world’s most acclaimed artists over the course of three decades in music, including Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, Joni Mitchell, Joshua Bell, Yo-Yo Ma, Paul Simon, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler. Botti will be joined by his lineup of “red hot, polished, combat-proven veterans that really put on a great show” (AllAboutJazz.com).
