Can you name four great Hanukkah songs? OK, then how about two good Chanukkah songs? Not easy, huh? Well, Adam Gardner (Guster) and Dave Schneider (The Zambonis) have joined forces and started a band called The LeeVees, and they play sweet and rockin’ indie-pop songs solely about Channuka. Set amid gorgeous harmonies, funky riffs and distinctive keyboarding are original songs that celebrate the family togetherness (and food) of the Festival of Lights, including “Latke Clan,” “Apple Sauce vs. Sour Cream” and of course, “How do you Spell Channukkahh?” Appearances with Barenaked Ladies and the Boston Pops prove even if you are one of the non-Jewish “Goyim Friends,” you can still rock out to this afternoon of family, food and fun!

Best holiday recording of the decade.”
