Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Other Treasured Stories by Eric Carle” : Offstage Activities

Maine College of Art’s Teacher Candidate, Ouda Baxter, is hosting an artistic workshop October 8, 10:30-11:30 AM, at the Portland Public Library for children (ages 3-9) based on the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. Attendees will bring Brown Bear and his friends to life with colorful tissue paper creations and other hands-on materials, preparing families for Portland Ovations’ presentation of Brown Bear, Brown Bear and other Treasured Stories by Eric Carle. Ovations Offstage Director, Catherine Anderson will also guide children in an animated reading of the story during the workshop.
