cancellation policy

We are contractually obligated to pay artists, facilities, and crews for our performances and therefore rarely cancel a performance for weather. Please visit our website for updates. We post notice of cancellations or postponements on the show ticket page immediately. We also attempt to notify ticket holders of cancellations or postponements by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. If a show goes on as scheduled, we are unable to refund the cost of tickets. Please do not endanger yourself this winter. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to travel and park safely.

late-seating policy

Portland Ovations' goal is to present you with exciting programs of high artistic quality as well as a gratifying and enjoyable night at the theater. We want our audience to enjoy the artists we bring without disruption. To avoid disturbing both the artists and the already-seated patrons and to ensure patron safety, we are often unable to seat latecomers in their ticketed seats until a suitable break or intermission. If it is known that a break will not come until intermission, late-comers will be seated in open seats at the discretion of management. Audience members may then take their ticketed seats at intermission. Please be aware that not all performances have intermissions, therefore it is possible that those arriving late may be reseated for the duration of the event. As a reminder, there are no refunds or exchanges. We encourage all our patrons to allow for plenty of time to get to the theater on time. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the exhilaration of live performance.
